Saturday, June 26th. Sorry I'm a day late getting this up, but I just didn't feel like messing on the computer last night! The rest day in Pueblo was well-deserved but busy. I woke up about 7:45, put on my bathing suit, and got in the hotel hottub. It felt great...I need to make a habit out of that! Afterwards, I got showered and met Jimmy Pitts at 11am in the hotel lobby. I hadn't seen Jimmy in years, but he's still as tall as ever! We drove to Colorado Springs (his hometown about 30 minutes away) and had lunch at a place called the Elephant Bar. It's interesting how much two people who haven't seen each other in years can find to talk about! after lunch we went to Barnes and Noble...I bought a couple of mags, a book, and we had some coffee. After that we went in search of a bike shop...I needed some degreaser to clean my chain. Anyway, I got back to the hotel about 5pm, and went to a really good Italian place with several bike folks. I'm not going to go into any detain about my conversations with Jimmy....I'll be glad to share that later with those folks who know him and would like to hear what's he's up to. Later! font>
