Monday, July 19th. Today was our final rest day of the Cross Country Challenge. Only eight more riding days until we arrive at the Atlantic Ocean and the end of this wonderful adventure. I slept in until 8:15am and then went in search of food...normally I've had breakfast and a SAG stop by now! Bill and I walked down to a little breakfast joint and I had a great omelet. The rest of the day consisted of doing laundry, cleaning the bike, taking pictures of the whimsically decorated frogs all over the downtown....why didn't Myrtle Beach choose something other than carousel horses? The frogs were awesome because the artists could be so creative. A group of us went to a cool Irish pub...Molly Branagan's....for dinner. Shepherd's Pie was a nice change of pace from buffet food! We cross into New York tomorrow. Another state down!
